What we collect

Everything below comes from you — either by filling in a form on this site or by paying for a package.

  • Inquiry form: your name, email address, the collection or package you're interested in, your budget range and timeline, how you heard about us, and the project details you choose to describe.
  • Project intake form: your name, email, organization, phone number if you provide one, your existing website and social profiles, domain and hosting details, target launch date, and the written content, logos, and photos you send us for the build.
  • Payment: your name, email, billing details, and card information are collected and processed by Stripe on its own secure checkout. Card numbers never reach this website and are never stored by the studio. We keep a record of what you bought, the amount, the payment status, and the receipt.
  • Email: whether a message we sent you was delivered, and whether you have unsubscribed from non-essential email.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends to our host on every visit, such as your IP address and browser type, used to serve the site and keep it secure.
02

Why we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry and prepare a written quote.
  • To plan, build, and deliver the project or subscription you purchased.
  • To process payment, issue receipts, and keep accurate records for tax and accounting.
  • To send project updates, payment confirmations, and answers to your questions.
  • To keep the site working and protect it from fraud and abuse.
03

Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run the studio. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job, and none of them are permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

  • Stripe — payment processing, receipts, and subscription billing.
  • Our email provider — sending inquiry confirmations, project emails, and receipts.
  • Our website host and database provider — running the site and storing your form submissions and order records.
  • Our accountant and, where the law requires it, tax or government authorities.
  • We never sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
04

Cookies and tracking

  • This site does not run advertising cookies and does not build profiles of visitors for marketing.
  • Stripe sets the cookies it needs to complete a payment securely and to prevent fraud.
  • Our host may record standard, aggregated request logs to keep the site available and secure.
05

How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that do not become projects: kept up to 24 months in case you come back to us, then deleted.
  • Project files and correspondence: kept for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward so we can support what we built.
  • Payment, invoice, and tax records: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years.
  • Unsubscribe records: kept indefinitely so we can honour your choice.
06

Your choices and rights

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete your information, except records we must keep for tax, accounting, or legal reasons.
  • Unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time using the link at the bottom of any message we send. Emails about an active project or a payment are not marketing and will continue while the engagement is live.
  • Withdraw a request or ask a question about any of the above by emailing us.
07

Security

  • The site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions and order records are stored in an access-controlled database.
  • Card details are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor, and are never stored on our systems.
  • Only the studio has access to your project files and correspondence.
08

Children

  • Our services are sold to organizations and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
09

Changes to this policy

  • If this policy changes, the revised version is posted on this page with a new date at the top.
  • Material changes affecting an active project will be sent to you by email.
